Questionable Plot Holes In MOS 2

We all know, in this “real world” tone DC/WB has set, that a few major characteristics of our hero’s are questionable. For instance; the big difference between Clark Kent and Superman is a pair of glasses? And a man with tons of expensive gadgets, who else but Bruce Wayne? In this article, I will add my two cents of how to “realistically” approach these questions.

The Glasses

I’ll keep this short and sweet. If we can believe that a man in a tight blue suit can fly and is by all means, a god, than I think we can suspend our believe enough to accommodate this query. I mean, people complain that Man of Steel was “too far from the original” (Original being the 1978 Superman franchise). Hello? The glasses being the main/only real difference from Clark to Supes (given this version isn’t a bumbling ba-fool), is an homage to the classic films. They keep one of the best, yet corniest, devices of the character and you still complain? Just enjoy the classics.

Batman’s Expensive Gadgets = Bruce Wayne

Now this is a little less on the nose, but a problem none the less. They didn’t address this in the Nolan films, but given they will try their best to differentiate the two separate universes, I feel this could be brought up. Now, I recently read an article (From MoviePilot) that Bruce admits he helps “financing” the Batman. While the report is COMPLETE BULL! I’m not going to get too into it, but don’t believe ANY of it for a second. However, it does pose an interesting theory. I think that is a very clever way to help distinguish Bruce from Bat’s.

Another route could be the Arrow (CW TV show – which is awesome!). In the beginning, Oliver Queen (Green Arrow) is kidnapped. He proceeds to kill the kidnappers, but reveals to the police that the “Arrow” saved him. All they have to do is have Bruce be “saved” by the Batman. Maybe even have a decoy placed, while Bruce is with the police? Who knows? But this would be an interesting way to help set Batfleck apart from the other incarnations.

However they handle these, and other questionable devices, I believe in Harvey Dent DC/WB. Thanks for reading. Comment below; Would these options work? What are some of your ideas?
