Discarded Villains

There are several villains in the DC universe that may work in cartoons and comics, but for me, are not great in live action. However, with a few modifications, I think they may have a chance.

This has always been one of Wonder Woman's top villains, and for the life of me, I couldn't understand why. I mean for the cartoons, it's fine, i guess, but no way this chick compares to the power that WW has. To be honest, she wold work better as a Batman villain.

Instead of a cursed woman, from an ancient temple, make her a human cannibal with vitiligo. Perhaps an ex gymnast. I'm pretty much stripping away her (ridiculous source) of power and making her a real, human creep.

2. Magenta

Kane survives, but her superstitious mother blames Kane and believes her daughter to be possessed by the devil.

So Kane isn't a mass murder or anything, just someone who doesn't know how to now live her life with these new abilities. She does kill a few more people accidentally, which is how our hero (Flash) finds her, but she is emotionally distraught about it. Maybe she does have some mental issues (we show before hand -- I'm going for mild schizophrenia) and the constant electric pulses through her brain and body increases the deterioration of her mental stability.

3. Murmur

This is easy. Again, not a meta-human, just a psychopath with  a cult following. Instead of him sewing his mouth shut, which maybe he does, he sews the mouth of his victim shut. I think Green Arrow would be a good match (usually Flashes baddy). He could steal and place bombs in throughout the city, which could help with the teaming of Diggle and/or Speedy.

4. Onomatopoeia

He's a  weapons expert with a creepy vibe. He keeps a trophy case, displaying the masks of the heroes he has killed, but given he's not as powerful, I'm not sure which hero's he kills. If anything, I would keep the case, but it's ordinary people trying to be superheros. This would help show the difference between 'real' hero's, and wanna be's. Whats fun is his alter ego. A normal life -- wife 2 kids, which is great, but depending on the overall script and story, could be bypassed.

5. Mr. Freeze

You know the origin... He is a doctor (bio chemist or engineer this time 'round perhaps) whose wife develops a rare cancer. He then goes on try to find a cure, which leads to his loss of control at work. Then he falls in a vat of this specialized liquid nitrogen, which drops his core temperature, and makes him steal (several elements) for his specialized suit to keep his core temp down.

The things that's always bugged me about Freeze is the weaponry and murder. He would not want to murder people. If you were to "Nolanize" it, you have him build this weapon that fires ice bullets. Allow him to becomes a great marksman so he knows where to shoot people as to not kill them.

6. Poison Ivy

This is a tuffy. The plant thing has never worked for me; live action at least... I got nothin'. Comment below on how to make her work live-action.
